Coding for the Future

LMS 6th Graders in Mrs. Reba Griggs' Coding Class experienced their introduction to coding. They learned about writing algorithms (instructions) and practiced running their programs with "robot arm" peers to create a stack of cups. The "robot arms" had to follow the instructions exactly as they were given, whether right or wrong. Many lessons were learned about clarity and #expectingexcellence! Thank you Mrs. Griggs for a great beginning lesson! We can't wait to see how far these students take their coding skills this year.
