LISD is pleased to announce that our Bill's Backpack Food Program has received a $1,000 grant from the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation. We are very excited about this Sodexo grant because Bill's BackPacks plays a significant role in providing resources and nutritious food to LISD students. This year the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation helped fund 30 backpack food programs in communities across America, and we are one of the lucky ones! We send out a huge thank you to the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation for the grant, to LISD Instructional Services Director Donna Pugh for writing the grant, and to our Sodexo General Managers Steve Croyle and Denver Bruner.
