Levelland ISD students win tobacco-free poster contest

The Drug-free Committee at Levelland ISD recently sponsored a poster contest in support of promoting a drug-free lifestyle.  Students were invited to participate by creating a poster within the theme:  Life is a Journey:  Travel Drug-free.  The top three winners from each campus competed on the district level.

The overall winners from Levelland ISD were:  Makalyn G., Levelland High School, 1^st place; Elisa Z., Levelland High School, 2^nd place; and Olivia P., Levelland High School, 3^rd place.

Hockley County VOICES Coalition presented gift cards to all of the first place winners.  The Drug-free Committee presented certificates to all winners.  Campus winners are:
