Open System Preferences and go to Keyboard:

Select the Shortcuts tab. Make sure the box for "Use keyboard navigation to move focus between controls" is checked.

Open Safari Preferences:

Select the Advanced tab. Make sure the box for "Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage" is checked.

Capitol Counselor, Mrs. Barbara Utley shares that her 3rd graders learned some life lessons from the book Only One You by Linda Kranz as they are beginning their transition to LIS. This story taught them to set aside some quiet time to relax and reflect every day, that if you make a wrong turn- circle back, to know when to speak & when to listen, to find your own way-you don't have to follow the crowd, and that "There's only one you in this great big world." They made their own unique rocks that were placed in the Capitol rock garden for others to remember them. Thank you, Mrs. Utley, for helping our awesome kids adjust to future things ahead!
