State Poster Winner

Capitol Librarian Mrs. Pam Alexander is proud to announce that Geraldine Rosales Pina, a third-grader, won the Soil & Water Conservation Poster Contest at the local and State Level! Each year Mrs. Alexander challenges students to participate in this contest. This year's theme is "Healthy Soils: Healthy Life" and you can see that Geraldine did a fine job portraying this theme. She won $100 for winning the local contest and $500 at the State level. She will travel to Galveston in October for the awards ceremony. We are so excited for you Geraldine. You're in the right place!
