August Teacher of the Month

South Elementary sends out congratulations to Kayla Newton! She is their August Teacher of the Month. Mrs. Eugenis says that Kayla is great at building strong relationships with students & parents, having evidence of Fundamental 5 each day, teaching "bell to bell" every day, volunteering for "extras", and has a positive attitude and finding solutions, being a team player - she has also been a great help to many on other grade levels in the building, including helping our new Art teacher with lesson ideas. Mrs. Eugines says, "When we think of our motto, Expect Excellence, Kayla is a model for this. Thank you Kayla for all you do, for being a positive role model in our school, and for making South a great place to be!"
