Career Expo

LMS Counselor Mrs. Coats arranged for 8th Graders to attend the WorkForce Solutions Career Expo! Many companies were on hand to visit with students about what route they might want to take when deciding what courses to take upon entering LHS & after. They all learned that some careers require college courses, & others don't! They learned that you can still be successful, even if you don't go to college but have some specialized training. A good time was had by all! There were challenges with our police & Superintendent McCutchen, Mrs. Coats, & LMS AP Brian Luna enjoyed a ride up in the Excel Energy Basket! Thank you, Mrs. Coats, for helping your students unlock doors they can't even see yet.
