Come & Take It!

In honor of Texas Independence Week and Texas Public School Week, LIS 4th-graders in Mr. Russell Hill's Texas History class were caught creating their own version of the "Come and Take It" flag from the Battle of Gonzales. They created a birthday card for Texas on Independence Day on Thursday, March 2, and will be shooting a "news report live" from one of the battles this week. We love that Mr. Hill reaches out of the box with his teaching so that students remember the content!
