Today, we celebrate National Human Resources Day, recently proclaimed by Governor Abbott to recognize and honor the important contributions made by school staff who serve in human resources.

At Levelland ISD, we are fortunate to have the very best advocate for our employees—Assistant Superintendent Rodney Caddell. Mr. Caddell wears many hats, and his leadership in Human Resources is just one of them. Each day, he works tirelessly to ensure our district is staffed with high-quality employees and that those employees thrive in a positive work environment. In addition to his work in Levelland ISD, Mr. Caddell shares his expertise statewide as the District V Representative for the Texas Association of School Personnel Administrators (TASPA). Mr. Caddell’s dedication to Levelland ISD spans 37 years. Beginning his career here as “Coach Caddell,” he later became a Principal before moving into district leadership as Assistant Superintendent. His commitment and leadership have shaped our schools and strengthened our district.
