What does it take to make our holiday Merry and Bright? Our LISD Maintenance and Grounds crew....that’s who! We send out a huge thank you to our amazing Maintenance & Grounds Team for loading and delivering Bill’s BackPacks food boxes directly to the homes of our LISD students who could not get them picked up. This holiday season, Bill’s BackPacks packed 7,800 pounds of food, providing essential support to students facing food insecurity during the long break. This incredible effort truly shows that it takes a village: from fundraisers and donors, to those who help pack the boxes, to the crews who deliver them with care. We are so grateful to be part of the LISD village and to everyone who played a role in making this happen. Thank you for helping our students and families have a brighter holiday season!
