We are so proud to recognize our newest educators who successfully completed LISD’s First Year Teacher Academy! A huge congratulations to Gracie Ruiz, James Daniel, and Katie Peña, who helped guide and support these first-year teachers as they learned to communicate effectively with fellow educators and parents, organize their instruction, and polish their classroom management. This year-long academy engages new teachers in meaningful activities designed to prepare them for real-life classroom situations throughout the school year. While we already know these educators are fantastic, and this program helps strengthen their confidence and skills even further. We are grateful that Levelland Independent School District continues to offer such a strong mentoring program and we couldn’t be prouder of our newest teachers!
