Congratulations to Dr. Donald Heseman, Levelland Chamber of Commerce Educational Professional of the Year Award! What a well-deserved honor for our leader who understands that when our schools succeed, our entire community thrives! Since coming to Levelland ISD, Dr. Heseman has worked tirelessly to bring our schools & community together. Through numerous town hall meetings, meaningful conversations with stakeholders & active involvement in the Industry Education Committee, he has made it a priority to listen, collaborate & build a stronger future for LISD & Levelland. Dr. Heseman was also instrumental in helping pass the recent LISD VATRE! He made it his mission to meet with every civic organization in Levelland, sharing information, answering questions & helping community members understand the importance of the election for the future of our schools. His dedication to keeping our community informed & involved played an important role in this milestone for LISD! His commitment to Levelland doesn't stop at the schoolhouse doors! As an active Lion & Rotarian, Dr. Heseman continues to serve alongside community members who are working to make Levelland an even better place to live, work & raise a family. Dr. Heseman has a long-term vision for students that goes far beyond graduation day. His goal is to ensure our students are prepared for college, military service & the workforce. By connecting education with the needs of local industries, he is helping create opportunities for our graduates to leave LISD with valuable skills that can lead to meaningful careers, while also strengthening Levelland's future workforce.
